ABOUT SEED AND RIPPLE

Seed And Ripple was created from a simple belief that small moments of reflection can create lasting change.

We create culturally grounded spaces where people, communities and organisations can pause, reflect, reconnect and grow. Through meaningful experiences, practical resources and genuine conversation, our work supports people to strengthen their confidence, deepen their connections and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

At the heart of Seed And Ripple is the understanding that growth doesn't happen all at once. It begins with a single seed — a conversation, a new perspective, a moment of courage or a decision to do things differently. Over time, those small moments create ripples that extend far beyond ourselves.

Whether someone attends a workshop, engages us to work alongside their organisation or picks up a set of reflection cards, every Seed And Ripple experience is designed with the same intention, to plant seeds of self-belief, connection and possibility.

When we invest in ourselves, our relationships and our communities, the impact reaches far beyond us. It ripples through our families, workplaces, communities and into the lives of those around us.

MEET SHANA

Hi, I'm Shana.

I'm a proud Narungga woman with family ties across the Yorke Peninsula, Adelaide and South Australia, now living on Wurundjeri Country with my husband, and our two beautiful boys.

Before Seed And Ripple, I spent more than 15 years working across Aboriginal community, justice and workforce development, always searching for a way to bring leadership and wellbeing together. I believe people shouldn't have to choose between achieving meaningful outcomes and looking after themselves — they deserve both.

Throughout my career, I’ve found myself drawn to the same thing, time and time again — I love creating spaces where people feel safe enough to slow down, be heard, think differently and connect with what matters.

Then life asked me to do the same.

Like many people, I spent years moving from one milestone to the next. Building a career. Becoming a mum. Chasing goals. Showing up for everyone else. Somewhere along the way, I realised I had become really good at supporting others but had forgotten how to make space for myself.

Seed And Ripple grew from that realisation.

It began with honest moments of reflection. Scribbled thoughts. Reflections written for myself. Long walks. Time on Country. Moments that reminded me that growth doesn't always happen in big, life-changing breakthroughs, it begins with one small decision to pause.

Today, I have the privilege of working alongside workplaces, schools, community organisations, women's groups and leaders to create spaces for reflection, connection and meaningful conversation. Whether I'm facilitating a workshop, speaking at a conference, supporting an organisation or designing a new resource, my hope is always the same — that people leave feeling a little lighter, a little more connected and a little more confident than when they arrived.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me chasing my two boys around, walking through nature with an iced coffee in hand, creating new ideas at 10 o'clock at night, or laughing at how wonderfully unpredictable life can be.

I believe every person has something valuable to offer. Sometimes we just need to create the right space to remember that.
